Isola
Minore is the smallest of the three Islands of the Lake Trasimeno
and is the closest to Passignano.
Now a private island, it was very popular until the 15th C, when the
last inhabitants, under constant attack by bandits, transfered themselves
to the mainland. Since it has been inhabited occasionally by hermits.
Since a few years the Cormorano bird breeds there undisturbed. |
